Hi, I’m Cheryl Burgmaier,
and I’m so happy that you’re here!
Before you decide whether you’d like to work with me, there are a couple of important things that you should know.
First, my main focus will ALWAYS be on you. I am here to educate and help you build confidence around your finances. If you’re into “get rich quick” schemes, then I am not the woman for you. When you work with me, we’ll focus on your specific life stage and comfort level to build a strong financial foundation.
Next, I will NEVER be pushy and sales-driven. It’s just not in my nature. I want our relationship to be based on transparency and trust, so I am a fee-only firm. This means that I do not receive commissions or other payments from the providers of financial products that I recommend to you.
Now that you have a feel for the way that I conduct my business, here’s a little background information on me.
My family and I live in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico where I’ve been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for over 25 years. Throughout this time, I’ve enjoyed working with many small businesses, but often find that I especially enjoy working with women.
Connecting with women as a CPA is wonderful, but my absolute favorite aspect of my career has always been financial education. In my eyes, there’s nothing more stunning than a woman who’s fully-armed with financial knowledge.
This passion to help women take control of their finances fueled my decision to continue my education to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®). As a CFP® I am truly able to help women from all walks of life find a balance between enjoying life today, while also planning for a beautiful financial future.
